Who can join as Ordinary Member?

Only Indian individuals, sole proprietary concerns, partnerships, limited liability companies and associations, whether incorporated or not, and societies are eligible to be elected as ordinary members of the Chamber. Only Ordinary Members shall have the right to vote.

Non-Indian individuals and businesses are eligible for this category of membership.An Associate Member enjoys all the privileges of an Ordinary Member except the right to vote and be elected to the General Committee.

Only non-Indian individuals, sole proprietary concerns, partnerships, limited liability companies are eligible to be elected as affiliate members of the Chamber. Affiliate members are entitled only to avail themselves of the Origin Certificate Service of the Chamber on payment of concessional fees at rates applicable to Ordinary and Associate members. Affiliate members are not entitled to any other privileges.

Individual membership shall be open to persons of Indian origin who are members of professions and who are not engaged in any trading activity. Individual members shall not have the right to vote, and if they availe themselves of the Origin Certification service of the Chamber, they shall be charged fees at rates applicable to non-members.

Important information for applicants

    1. We review submissions once a month
    2. Once you have been approved, you will receive a username and password via you registered email
    3. Please note that your membership will be valid for one year from the date of application
    4. If you are an ordinary member, you pay a pro-rated date till 31st December and then renew again
